
Phillip Butler serves as Executive Vice President and Partner for MRA Group, where he is responsible for sourcing and executing on real estate development and investment opportunities for our organization. Phil has 20 years of leadership experience, serving in various facets of the real estate industry in diverse but interrelated capacities. Prior to joining MRA, Mr. Butler co-founded and served as managing principal of a real estate consultancy and development firm working with corporate and real estate clients, where he focused on portfolio strategy, program management and urban infill development projects. Prior, Mr. Butler held leadership positions with Toll Brothers, CB Richard Ellis, and as Global PMO director with Ally Financial, where he was responsible for project acquisition, project execution and operational oversight in each of the organizations.
Mr. Butler commenced his real estate career in the real estate advisory group with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he consulted with real estate developers and investors relative to financial and ownership structuring, sourcing of equity and debt funding and project cash flow analysis. Mr. Butler earned his B.S. in Business and Economics from Lehigh University, and obtained a Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license in Pennsylvania post-graduation. He also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Phil serves on the board of Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia, along with several other community activities.
Mr. Butler lives in Ambler, PA with his wife and three children.
